As a fan of biology and genetics I felt the need to come up with a DNA cable pattern. So here it is!

Hat is knit flat on two needles, NOT in the round. This hat is made by knitting the DNA cable band first and picking up and working the stitches along the sides.

Finished hat measures approximately 10 inches tall by 22 inches around.

This is not a skull-tight fitting beanie. Does have a bit of a loose fit on top.

I used Red Heart yarn, but any worsted weight yarn will do.
