The sample worked in the picture was knitted with double Aran yarn: 50% Acrylic, 50% Polyamide from Yarn Paradise . Any wool that can achieve the right gauge will do. I would suggest chunky.

This pattern uses, cable, short row technique and spiral technique.

For size 6 it took 400 grams and 580 metres

The pattern is NOT knitted in the round so any needles will do :)
