Looking for cute matching mittens too? This pattern comes in a set as well for a discounted price - the Do the Math Set.

The Do the Math Headband is knit in the round and folded to create a double-layer of fabric. graft stitch is used at the end to join the finished edge with the cast on edge. There is a regular section with the specified gauge and a section called ‘Do the Math’. In this section, you can make a made-to-measure pair of mittens using any yarn you like and make them any size you like. You can either use the recommended measurements, or you can measure a headband or hat you already own and want to re-create.
