A great way to use up those scraps after you’ve made your Doctor Who scarf! Why should your neck get all the attention?

These Doctor Who inspired mittens are a must have with your Doctor Who scarf! Also great for those who want to show their “Who Pride” but are a little shyer than some of us. ::coughs::

One size fits most. Alter size by -/+ stitches by multiples of 4 at the beginning increase. Try on as you go!

Pattern calls for DK weight yarn however, mittens can be easily altered by changing needle size to accommodate the leftover yarn many might have after making their scarf.

These mittens are made top-down aka: finger tips to cuff. This makes for a great fit. Those who have made top-up socks or ever wanted to will find that this pattern takes you step by step.

Links to Judy’s Magic Cast-On and a provisional cast on are included.

A special thank you Mei Lynne Travis for her Mittens From The Top pattern which helped with the gusset instructions.
