This pattern is a significant revision of Berroco’s Celestine Crochet. The points have been modified to be more rounded and the pattern revised to work from the tip of each point to the base.

You can use either a C, D or E hook. I’ve made one with each hook and the difference is size is not appreciable so use whichever hook you have handy.

I put cat toys in the dodecahedron so it makes noise when it is shaken. I found the most effective noise makers were cat toys; namely beaded buzz balls and lattice bell balls.
