So this top is a simple one, knitted from the bottom up in the round and flat with ribbed edges including around the neckline. The shoulders are seamed. Knitted with a very cool recycled yarn, cause we have got to cut back and re-use what we can, right?  From my experience in working with this yarn, I can tell you that it does not disappoint and in each color you’ll find an underlying hue, which is actually quite charming.

This knit is doable for knitters of all skill levels~
The pattern has been tech edited, includes a schematic and a measurement chart.

The fit is marvellously oversized for maximum comfort to be worn year round. The top’s bottom sits just below the hip bone, the short sleeves can be made longer but you may have to add an extra skein of yarn.

Yarn
Recycle skein, a worsted weight recycled yarn made from 50% recycled Acrylic/30% recycled Cotton, 20% recycled Polyester. 250 yards/100 grams per skein. 3 (3/3/3) (3/3/4) (4/4/4) (4/4/4/4) skeins.

Notions
Two circular needles both 36” (90 cm) in length. A size 6 (4mm) and size 7 (4.5 mm).
1 US size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) in length.
2 Stitch markers.
Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge
15 sts and 20 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch with larger needle. Be sure to swatch for a proper fit.

Techniques applied
Knitting and purling in the round and flat, decreasing, placing stitches on hold to be picked up again later, binding off, weaving in ends. The shoulders get seamed.
Blocking is optional, the sample shown was not blocked.
