The last of the Dog Days mini-projects, Dog Days 6 is simple and easy, and knits up quickly in about 75 yards of sportweight yarn. I’d envisioned it with the thicker part toward the back of the head, and the narrow part to the front, but you can also reverse it for a sort of vague Wonder Woman effect.

(Buy it as part of the Dog Days set for $18.50, or alone for $3.50!)

Materials:
About 60-75 yards of Patons Kroy Sock Yarn, or a similar sportweight substitute yarn
1 pair of straight needles, or a circular used for flat knitting, in US3/3.25mm, or size needed for gauge
3 buttons compatible with eyelets, about 1/2”/1.25cm
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
Gauge is 23 sts and 36 rows in 4”/10cm of blocked garter stitch.

Note: Patons Kroy Sock is classified as a fingering weight yarn, but for me, it works up similarly to a sport or slightly heavy sock yarn.

Errata: There’s an error in the early version—as of July 10th, the .PDF has been updated!
