Dog Poo Bag Holder

This dog poo bag holder features a side slit to allow the bag to unroll while you pull bags out the side. A strap and button let you attach this to your retractable dog leash handle or regular dog leash, or just to carry.

These could also be used to carry a few treats for your pup, the overlapping side slit should keep them in.

This is great quick project to donate to your local animal shelter to use or sell!

I used a smaller hook than recommended for this Medium weight (4) cotton yarn, to make a tighter knit to help it hold its shape. It helps to have a roll of poo bags handy to test fit after the first 5 or 6 rows to see if you need to go up or down a size.

Construction

Pattern starts with a Magic Ring, and is worked in the round, but switches to back-and-forth rows to leave a slit. After the slit, the sides are joined and worked in the round again - followed by a short strap with a buttonhole at the end.
