I created this pattern to complete a custom request order. This sweater fits a medium sized dog with a 17” neck, 27” girth, and 19” length (from neck to tail). If you need a different size, please email with a custom request!

This is an easy pattern to follow, that most crocheters can pick up and complete fairly quickly. It is all done in one continuous piece (except for the final border to give a finished edge) worked both flat and in rounds for the different sections.

The second photo shows a customer’s dog wearing the sweater she made him from this pattern!

Materials:
worsted weight yarn, such as Red Heart or Caron. Shown in the photo is Caron One Pound in color “ocean”.
size K (10.5) crochet hook.
3 buttons, and needle and thread for attaching them.
a yarn needle is useful for weaving in ends, but not necessary.

Stitches used:
sc, hdc, dc, tr
FPdc (front-post double crochet) and BPdc (back-post double crochet)

Try using an ombre yarn or stripes of different colors to change the look!
