KNITTING PATTERN* for simple and fun doll wig pattern. This unique hand-knit wig for 
cloth dolls is quite simply a hat with 
the hairstyle knit right in! No tedious strand by strand tying on. This pattern is for the Pigtail style.

Directions are for 13.5-14” wig/hat (which fits newborn size dolls) samples are Lion Brand Homespun while technically not Bulky Weight it knits up like one because of it’s great texture. You can also combine a standard worsted weight yarn with a textured light weight boucle yarn. Wig uses approx. 75 yds depending on length of loops desired.

While specific directions are only supplied for the one size wig, the lighter the yarn (boucle works best!), the smaller the gauge, the smaller the wig. How small can you go? (send me pics please)

Wig is knit in the round utilizing basic shaping technique. Includes directions for special stitch needed as well as sewing directions to attach to cloth doll.
