doll's walking costume by Weldons

doll's walking costume

by Weldons

This includes patterns for a pelisse, hat, shoes, cape, muff and tiny handbag, as well as for drawers and a petticoat in knitting.
Most of these can be worked in 4 ply, but use a finer wool for the drawers.
The pelisse fastens with hooks and eyes, with buttons sewn on decoratively; it is trimmed with looped crochet.
The pattern first came out in 1890, but has been reprinted by Dover and Interweave Press.
