Dolly Mixture Cardigan
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This sweet girl’s cardigan is worked in stocking stitch with a bobble pattern. Young children love to carry around a small knitted toy and therefore I decided to incorporate a knitted dolly into this design. The design involves minimal making up as the fronts and back (including the bands) are knit in one piece.
The yarn suggested is Rowan Pure Wool double knit which is available in a wide range of colours. You will need a pair of size 3.25mm & 4mm needles and 5 or 6 buttons plus some scraps of double knit yarn to make the doll.
The pattern includes instructions for chest sizes 56, 61, 66, 71 & 76cm.
This pattern was originally published in Knitting magazine April 2009 issue.
