Materials

  • Dye Dye Done Pure Merino – Hat Kit.
  • US 2 2.75 mm and US 2½ 3 mm 16” 40 cm circular needles or double pointed needles
  • marker
  • tapestry needle

One size
To fit head circumference: 22/23.5” 56/60 cm. Approx. hat length: 9” 23 cm.

Gauge
28 stitches and 33 rounds per 4” 10 cm in Fair Isle pattern with larger needles after blocking. Make sure to obtain the correct gauge; adjust needle size if needed.

Note: To get tighter ribbing, attach the second strand of MC yarn and work corrugated ribbing as follows: K2 with strand 1, p3 with strand 2, k1 with strand 1; repeat from to end, sm. While working this ribbing make sure to keep both strands of yarn in the back of the work.
