Don the Diplodocus
Don the diplodocus spends all day grazing on the soft foliage from the tops of trees and stripping the bark further down. This wears his teeth out pretty quickly but it’s ok, they just keep growing back. He is 17 inches long and 8 inches tall (when made with the recommended materials).
The 7 page pattern is intermediate skill level and is available in US and UK terminology – both versions will be available for you to download. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change and back loop only.
The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern:
US Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, half double crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), colour change, back loop only
UK Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, double crochet, half treble, increase, decrease (dc2tog), colour change, back loop only
