“Act like a lady.” I’ve always hated that phrase. What does that mean
exactly, anyway? Sit still, cross your legs, don’t speak unless spoken to.
Be demure. Nope, definitely not me. I speak my mind. I’m sometimes
crass. I sit cross legged in chairs and on the floor. So this design came to
me as a statement piece. It’s lofty, light, and that very girly pink, but the
addition of the black bows adds a bit of defiance, in my mind. I wear this
one doubled up but it’s nice and long and can be worn in a single drape
too. Remind yourself not to be ladylike all the time. Be yourself!
