♫ The Music ♫
The Cliffs of Dooneen is a traditional Irish ballad that speaks of the longing for home. In part it says:
“You may travel far far from your own native home
Far away o’er the mountains, far away o’er the foam
But of all the fine places that I’ve ever seen
There’s none to compare with the cliffs of Dooneen.“

May the Dooneen Cowl hold such beautiful memories for you.

Lusciously soft tonal Preciosa yarn delivers interesting highlights and next-to-the-skin softness. Whether worn singly, doubled or in multiple layers, this cowl with its leaf- inspired motif is the perfect accent piece. Choosing a yarn with subtle colour variations really adds a special touch to this design.

Pattern Notes
Knit in the round, this generously sized pattern includes 8 sizes!

The cowl begins with a Double Chain Cast On (photo tutorial included) and ends with a matching 2 stitch I-Cord bind off. Only a couple of finishing stitches are needed to sew the I-Cord ends together for a beautifully smooth finish.

Both charts and written directions for charts are provided.
