The Dori knit dress was designed as a reminder that recovery from an eating disorder is possible—with small steps, one day at a time, and with sufficient support! You are not alone, and you are worthy of all the good things. You can wear this dress to bring you safety, warmth, and love. Its minimalist style with beautiful raglan increases makes it a gentle choice for both everyday wear and special occasions.

NOTES
Dori is a raglan dress, worked from the top down starting with a folded neck ribbing. The neckline is shaped for a better fit using German Short Rows, while simultaneously beginning the raglan increases (worked on both the right and wrong sides). The yoke and raglan increases are then continued in the round down to the underarms. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked without shaping to the hem. The sleeve stitches are returned to the needles, stitches are picked up from the underarm, and the sleeves are worked top-down with decreases for shaping.
