Hurricane Dorian was a huge devastation to so many. While we took some really crazy wind and tons of rain in NC it could have hit us much worse. My heart goes out to the Bahamas and so many others impacted by this terrible storm.

With generator ready to go, flashlights at my left and right, I had everything all set to design this hat no matter what the weather brings.

$1.00 of every pattern purchase will go to the Red Cross for their continued efforts to assist the rebuilding from what Dorian has left in it’s wake. We were able to raise $410 in 90 days from the sale of the pattern and yarn.

This pattern is written for a DK yarn. It happens that I used my favorite CIAO yarn from Jody Long.

Enjoy the pattern but more importantly help us rebuild!
