Doric Hat
Doric Columns are one of 3 types of columns in Greek architecture.
They are the simplest and least ornate.
“Doric” offers 4 possible crown types to finish your hat.
Each one is fun and gives the hat a unique look.
There is something for everyone from the very simple and usual standard
crown, to the fun and unique side swirl crown.
Make one or make them all!
Worsted weight yarn: 150-200yds
Knitting needle: US7/4.5mm (You can use dpns, or circulars for magic loop or 2 circs)
Gauge: 5 sts/inch in stitch pattern.
(Gauge is not terribly important, this stitch pattern has A LOT of give).
Sizes: Small: 18-20 inches
Large: 21-23 inches
