The Dorothea hat is a quick and easy hat that is knit in the round. It features a ribbed edge that is folded once, and the upper half of the hat is knitted in a modified version of fisherman’s rib.

There are two versions of this pattern - both are included in the purchase:

Original version: Made for worsted weight yarn and a gauge of 22st/10 cm in 1x1 rib.

Flexible gauge version: This version lets you use any yarn and any gauge to make this hat - it’s a bit more complicated than the original version but once you get the hang of it, it’s the most versatile hat pattern you’ll ever have. With this pattern, you can make hats using anything from superfine to bulky yarn, for anyone from kids to adults.
