Family Business Collection

Our family is dominated by women. It’s so much fun to see all these different type of women gathering together, showing different
personalities and resembling each other.
All four of them ordered something handmade for this fall. They all
have their own style, they all know what they like and they are not
afraid to express their special ideas. The result is a bunch of designs, all different as women can be, but all practical and feminine.

Please note, that the e-book includes first only the Dorothy shawl pattern. Check the dates of release for the other patterns!

Dorothy shawl
is for my youngest daughter. She’s a girly girl, sweet as a 6 year old can be, funny and lovely. She asked for a shawl that can be worn as a scarf, in fun, vivid colors. I made this shawl special by using a unique shawl structure: it is made sideways, and the changes in the lace pattern form the shape of the shawl.
I offer 3 different sizes, so that it can be an adult wear too.

Release: 2014 September

Noemi shawl
It’s a classic shawl, knitted from top down with many-many
increases. The lace is rather tricky, as it’s knitted on the wrong
side too. The beads make the shawl extra special.

Planned releasing date: November 2014

Laura cowl
The cowl is textured, the different sections give it a lively rhythm.
Planned releasing date: December 2014

Esther shawl
The body of the shawl is a simple striped stockinette, and the lace
adds the feminine touch. Despite looking complicated, this shawl is a great lace project for those who are not experienced in lace knitting.

Planned releasing date: October 2014
