Dot’s Lace Shawlette begins at center back and is worked downward. The shawlette consists of cascading motifs of paired fern lace, edged top and bottom with garter borders with small leaflet insertions.

I designed the shawl in memory of my Aunt Dot, who taught me to knit. In recognition of her generous nature, I made this pattern a free download.

11/13/11: Pattern reformatted; charts corrected; center panel revised; main chart revised to correct awkward row endings. Please contact me with any questions on the new format.

Errata: (now corrected): Pattern should read: Rows 27 through 95: Work Charts E and F (rows 27 through 56) twice, then work rows 1 through 9 again.
