This is a lovely fun beanie that will brighten any winter’s day. This cosy beanie can be crocheted in a few hours. Easy to customize with your own choice of colours or size.

This is an ideal stashbuster. It can be made with chunky (bulky) yarn or 2 strands of double knit (8 ply) yarn. I used 2 strands of double-knit yarn in my illustrations. Allow one ball (100g) of each colour if using Double Knit (8 ply) yarn.

This pattern would be suitable for crochet beginners that know how to do the basic stitches (chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch). If you are a complete novice, there are some great videos available online to get you started. If you are a relatively inexperienced beginner, you may prefer to use chunky (bulky) yarn.

I hope you enjoy making this!
