The Dotty Socks use a simple dot stitch pattern which is easy to memorise and looks great with all types of sock yarn.

The pattern gives instructions for small (ages 4 - 8), medium (to fit an average women’s foot) and large (to fit an average man’s foot).

You will need 100g of any fingering weight sock yarn to make these socks, less if you are making the small size.

I have made all three sizes in different types of yarn and worked two different kinds of heels (although the instructions are for a traditional heel flap and gusset).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method and uses a 2.25mm needle.
