PATTERN NOTE*

The Double Knit Bandana Cowl was MUSE2320 Fiber Company’s 2023 Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop pattern.

This pattern is worked in double knit and is reversible! You will need two contrasting colors in DK weight yarn to complete this project.

Color A: 50g Color B: 50g

Stuff you need: 24” US7 (4.5mm) circular knitting needle, 2 stitch markers

Some notes before you cast on:

This project is knit back and forth and is reversible with no wrong sides in double knitting.

You choose Color A and Color B - you will use the same yardage of each color.

Place a stitch marker on the center stitch - this will make charting easier to follow. The chart is a mirror image so stitches will mirror on each side of the center stitch.

Colorwork in double knitting is simply reversing the colours you knit and purl to create a mirror image on each side.

You will whipstitch Rows 1-8 together once you complete your bandana cowl.

Want to create a simple reversible bandana cowl? This is a beautiful reversible piece that can be done without the charted colorwork!
