This is a simple pattern for making a shawl using whatever yarn you like and appropriate needles for that yarn weight. These are basic directions that get you started, and then you can knit the pattern repeat as much as you like to make the size shawl you want.

This is why I haven’t included gauge or yardage needed.

The “recipe” is for the bottom section only of the larger shawl pictured.
