PATTERN NOTES
These double mittens are inspired by traditional Chinese customs for the Lunar year wish (Nian nian you yu). It is a wish to have abundance year after year.

The mittens are knitted in stranded colorwork in the round.
They have a thumb gusset which makes the perfect shape and fits your hands very well. They are warm and comfortable.

The pattern includes photo tutorial of the thumb in order to make the knitting easier to understand.
