How do you Slip-stitch in a circle? How many increases do you use and how are they made? This rug is my attempt to answer all those questions and more. I give you full instructions to create a circle of Back-Loop-Only Slip-stitch to any size.

The finished items use an unusual placement of increases which gives the Helix effect.
The featured rug is made to 45 rounds but the pattern gives instructions for up to Round 52. This enables you to create a round from mug mat to cushion or rug size.

The accompanying blog post demonstrates the techniques. The pattern includes written instructions and a chart showing the first five rounds.

Your finished item will need to be blocked so it is essential that you use a blockable yarn like wool or cotton.
