Double Inversion Headband
The double inversion headband is double the thickness to keep you warm on cold days. The name for this headband was inspired by the Tanana valleys extreme weather inversions around the Fairbanks area. The most extreme weather inversion recorded in the Tanana valley was over a 70 degree difference recorded on January 13th of 1966. Valley temperatures reached down to -41 while in the hills were as warm as 31 degrees.
This pattern is easily adapted for different sizes and have written the pattern in 4 different yarn choices for you to choose from.
