These mittens are knit in a double knit stitch in the round which makes them reversible. They are a 2 color mitten and are very warm. There is a matching hat pattern also for sale in my Ravelry store. Instructions for the hat are not included although the hat is pictured with the mittens for effect. Some instructions are also given to make the mittens slightly larger or smaller by changing the needle size and the length of the mitten. Double pointed needles are used to knit the mittens in a round. Different sizes may be needed to achieve your gauge. It may be helpful to watch some videos about double knitting if this is new to you. It is not difficult, just different and very fun to learn! There are many good ones to choose from on You Tube showing the cast on, basic double knitting, increase and decrease stitches.
