PATTERN
This is an easy and fun project for a warm and thick headband. Perfect to hug your ears on cold autumn or winter days.
It is knitted flat (back and forth) and the pattern stitch is easy to memorize. It consists of a clever combination of knitted and slipped stitches and the result is a neat and double layered non-curling stockinette on both sides of the fabric.
The pattern provides two different style options for the front slip - one in plain pattern stitch, the other with ornamental bobbles. Decide which one you prefer or knit both, add a button at the back and enjoy the possibility to switch styles.

SIZES
All sizes from Kids to Adults.
The pattern provides instructions for a 10cm/4’’ or 12cm/4.7’’ width. The circumference depends on your individual size.
The headband can be easily customized to fit all head sizes. For customizing the circumference knit until it fits around your head (as tight as you prefer it), bind-off and sew it together.

YARN & YARDAGE
Up to 170m/185 yards of DK weight yarn (exact yardage depends on your head circumference)
