Using an all-over lace acorn pattern, at least nine different things for the home can be knitted from the instructions in this pattern. 100% cotton worsted is recommended and US Size 6 (4.00 mm) and US Size 5 (3.75 mm) needles. A large buttonhole is worked in the tab of the hanging towel. Using with leftover bits of yarn, an attractive set of leaves and acorns is knitted separately and sewn onto the pieces.

A good pattern for those who have mastered knits and purls and are ready to practice increasing and decreasing, yarn overs, and making buttonholes.

Worsted Weight 100% cotton yarn.

The models used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream and Bernat Handicrafter.
