Double Pique Knit Pattern Blanket

This simple Double Pique Textured Blanket makes the perfect blanket for a treasured baby gift, or make one big enough to throw over a sofa!

The blanket features a garter stitch border to the edge with a simple knit and purl pique effect.

Row by row written instructions, using only knit and purl stitches, it is the ideal project for new knitters and a relaxing knit for those more experienced.

With instructions on how to scale this blanket to any size, you can knit this for babies, kids and adults.

When knitting the smallest size you will need approximately 180gm of wool- based on using 4mm needles, baby DK yarn and will measure 25 x 25” when completed. If you are knitting this blanket bigger please take into consideration how much extra yarn you will require.

Stocking Stitch: 22 sts = 10cms/4 inches. 28 rows = 10cms/ 4 inches.
