This hat is knit entirely in one piece! It begins at the top of the inside layer and increases out to the earflaps. Earflaps are done with very simple short-rows (no need to even wrap!) and then the piece is continued with the outer layer yarn and optional colorwork. Finally all ends are woven in and the top is decreased for the crown. Use a super soft alpaca or cashmere for the inside and you will be cozy all winter!
