Double Up
The Double Up hat and mitts set has its Scandinavian roots from a traditional Swedish Dubbelmossa – a fully lined and fun to make hat that is essentially a long tube with each end closed. The hat can be worn with or without the cuff folded up. I like to have the cuff folded because it creates four woolly layers over my ears – just perfect for winter outdoor activities! The mittens are also fully lined for ultimate warmth and durability. They involve minimal shaping and make great first time stranded-knitting projects.
Also, you can pull the hat lining out and make it a neck warmer! How cool that it!
