The Double Yarn Hat is an easy to knit hat for anyone who can handle circular needles. Thanks to the stitch pattern, the hat looks interesting right away when you choose to knit with three colours. Fun guaranteed!

The hat is worked in round from the bottom up. First, cast on the stitches and start creating the coloured stitch pattern. When the hat is high enough, shape the hat by working decreases. Lastly, weave in the yarn to close the top of the hat.

This pattern is written per size (S or L) and per colourway (one or three). Size S is recommended for teenagers and smaller heads, size L for adults. Start at the section in the pattern that you choose to knit and follow along. Please note that everything is knitted with two strands of yarn.

You will need:
-5mm (US 8) circular needles (40 or 60cm/15 or 23 inches)
-Tapestry needle or crochet hook
-6 skeins (2 of each colour) of Peruvian Highland Wool (Filcolana) or Nepal (Drops).
