The Down south beanie is worked bottom up with a ribbed hem in k1 tbl, p1. The hem is then folded double and knit to the hat. Once the hat is finished, the hem is folded once again over the part in stockinette stitch. The Down south beanie has three layers over the ears, which gives it a great fit and keeps you warm on cold winter days.
