As you travel down the “Path” of this shawl you move from garter stitch to lace tiles that transition into vines leading to flowers and ending with a final seed stitch border. The pattern is designed to be somewhat flexible. The first 3 lace patterns contain the same repeating stitch count and increase.at the same rate so it is possible to move from pattern to pattern (chart to chart) at any point in your knitting. I have also included an optional final insert section for even more individual options.

This pattern is suitable for any fingering weight yarn and would also work in other weights but yardage requirements would be affected.
