DownEast
Even though rainrdops plop in puddles and drizzle off old city rooftops, a shimmering mist also hangs in the air. That mist carries the sound of wet tires as cars pass, and hangs fuzzy halos around the street lamps. Everything is simultaneously brighter and older in the rain. The welcoming ding of the coffeeshop offers a pause--complete with newspapers--from the weather.
