This simple triangular shaped wrap with dragon wing curves along the shorter sides as a feature, uses knit and purl for the textured garter stitch ridges.
Two 100g 4 ply skeins of sock yarn (usually 80/20 mix) are required. I used a semi-solid blue for the stocking stitch background, paired with a vibrant long transitional multicoloured skein for the high profile garter stitch ridge. It makes for a dramatic look.
The 4 row repeat pattern uses single and double increases and decreases with a slipped stitch feature at the start and finish of every row to give pretty braided edges.
This wrap can be worn to show both sides. The vibrancy of the multicoloured yarn you choose shows the high profile ridge on the right side, with lines of little dragon tears evident on the wrong side.
I made two tassels for the ends because I had enough yarn remaining to do so.
