This shawl is a triangular shawl and is knit from the top down. The first pattern stitch is a variation on the Candle of Glory stitch from Barbara Walker’s A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns (page 256). The border design was inspired by various Shetland lace stitches.

I use a handspun, laceweight yarn spun from a blend of Camel/Cashmere/Polwarth/Tussah (25/25/25/25)
