★ SKILL LEVEL: ADVANCED

★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
You can use any yarn that is comfortable and/or suitable for you. If it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first.

  • Yarn: I used: «Slonim» bobbin yarn in 2 threads (cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 808m, near 42-45sc in 4 inches). Also suitable yarns Gamma «Iris» (cotton, 10g ~ 82m) or YarnArt Iris (cotton, 20g ~ 138m) or floss in 3-4 threads. Colors: green, light yellow. Also you need white floss to make horns, and black to embroider eyebrows. The size of the toy (when seated) is ~10cm (without horns ~ 8cm).
  • Hook №0.9 (0.9mm).
  • Fiberfill (to stuff)
  • Glue eyes (3mm)
  • Cotter pins and joint disks: I used for the legs the disks 12mm in diameter (4pcs), T-head cotter pin 1.6х16mm (2pcs), on such a small size you can do joint without washers.
  • Wire 0.6mm thick. For the arms 1pc 16cm long, for the tail + body + head 1pc 32cm long. For the horns 2pcs 4cm each.
  • For the wings: wire 0.6mm thick ~12cm long (2pcs), ~10cm long (2pcs). Hot glue. You can take colored glue, or shadows or pigments for tinting.
  • Christmas ball pendant: 1 small piece of a thin chain (8-10mm long), 1 red bead Ø10mm, from metal fittings you will need a rosette (cap) 1pc, 1 pin and a small piece of thin wire to form a hook.
  • Needle, safety pins, scissors, adhesive tape, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).

★ SKILLS REQUIRED:

You must have good crochet skills (with crocheting mini/micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.
