Inspired by the Empyrean book series by Rebecca
Yarros, an adult dragon partnered with a youngling fly against a flame background surrounded by runes for strength, separation, signals, partnership, defense, standstill, possession, self, protection, wholeness, and joy.

Cowl is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. The garter edgings are worked on smaller circular needles, with the stranded colorwork portion worked on larger circular needles.
