Dragons…..they’re one of the most magical and mythical creatures. So, of course, they needed their own pattern in the Mythical Creatures Sock Collection.

Worked cuff down, the Dragon Seeker Socks have a texture down the front of the leg and foot which replicates the strong and beautiful Dragon scales that we all imagine, while being encased either side with simple cabled stitches.

An easily memorisable pattern, which works up quickly and is the perfect on-the-go project to work on when out and about!

The sample shown is knit in Cauldron Of Colours in the Here Be Dragons colourway, the perfect name for these socks.

The pattern comes in 4 sizes, S, M, L and XL with the cast on numbers as follows: 56, 64, 72 & 80. Each size requires one 100g skein of fingering/sock weight yarn and the heel and toe can be easily replaced by your favourite to make these socks your own.

Links are provided in the pattern should you wish to work the simple cable stitches without a cable needle (this is how I worked the stitches - they’re THAT simple!)

Gauge: worked in textured pattern
32 stitches // 56 rounds = 4 inches / 10 centimetres

Darning needle for weaving in ends and working kitchener stitch on the wedge toe.

The heel given in the pattern is an Eye Of Partridge heel, flap and gusset, which is my favourite, it’s so beautiful.
