It could just be because I recently binged on the first three seasons of Game of Thrones, but dragons have been tickling at the edges of my imagination.

I was toying around with a spiral increase and realized that the points seemed to get larger, and it made me think of a dragon’s tail. I imagined Daenerys with a dragon perched on her shoulder, protectively wrapping a tail around her neck. It all seemed to click.

This little neckerchief is meant to be worn with the biggest part in front, to keep drafts from sneaking down the front of your coat, but can really be worn any way that suits your style. Do you want to be warm, or do you want to be Mother of Dragons?

An excellent step-by-step tutorial can be found here, courtesy of Raveler mitrian. Thanks so much for taking the time, and apologies that my instructions were confusing. I realize that my chart is backwards.

Items made from my patterns are intended for personal use, sale, or world domination--as long as I get a parking space wherever I want once the world is yours.
