To make this epic dragon wing purse, you’ll need the following materials:

  • Crochet hooks sizes: 4.50mm, 5.00mm, & 6.50mm
  • Polyfil stuffing/batting: approx. 1-2 oz. only used to stuff the claws. You could also use yarn scraps.
  • Tapestry needle
  • Sewing pins or locking stitch markers To make the purse lining, you’ll need:
  • ½ yard of cotton fabric
  • 14” zipper (longer is ok, shorter not ok)
  • Thread that matches the color of the fabric/zipper AND thread that matches the color of the purse itself (these might not be the same color depending on your design choices)
  • Hand sewing needle. You may also use a sewing machine, but a hand sewing needle is recommended to sew the zipper to the purse.
  • Sewing clips or pins

Pattern Skill Level: Intermediate. YOU MUST BE AN EXPERIENCED SEWER FOR THIS ONE. Sorry to yell, but it’s important.

Size Info: This purse is 14” long and 16” wide from claw tip to claw tip. The actual bag size is 12”x12”.
