This pattern was inspired by dragon wings! I tried to make this pattern as simple as possible so that no matter if you are a seasoned crafter or new to the art of crochet, everyone could follow along. The primary stitches used are single crochet and slip stitches along with some very limited counting.

I used around 1 1/4 skeins of color changing yarn for the “webbing” and almost a skein of the darker colored “boning” to create a wing like scarf. The hook I used in the photo was actually a 5.25mm, but the pattern is so adaptable that you could really use any yarn and any size hook!
