This pattern is for a pair of ornate cable lace socks. The cable itself is a Japanese cable that is just perfect for socks. There’s enough “give” to make them comfortable, but enough unusual cabling to make them interesting to look at and fun to knit.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling, lace knitting and cabling).

This pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, and is sized by gauge

The sock pictured here was made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn, in colorway, Fjord.

This pattern was expertly test knitted by Deb LeBlanc who can be contacted at: artiesgirl85 @yahoo.com.
