Worked in the round!

This is my second foray into the design area of wall hanging. I would rate this pattern as high end intermediate or advanced. This pattern is slightly more complex than my first mandala, Dragonflies for Dee design. It does need the ability to understand special stitches, placement of angled post stitches and requires bit more concentration. Please note: I do not offer video tutorials. The pattern has row by row pictures along with a graph and written rounds.

I made 2 versions of this during the design process. The first from Scheepjes Whirl Shrinking Violet and the second in Durable Licorice Layer Cake. The pattern works up well in both of these yarns.

I suggest checking gauge for this pattern to ensure the design will fit the required hoop size.
Materials

3.5mm hook

1x Durable Colour Cake. 1000m/1093.6yd per ball. Approx total used 730m/798.3yd if gauge is met.

1x Scheepjes Whirl. 1000m/1093.6yd per ball. (click here for supplier)

Scissors

1 x 90cm hoop. Note: Size will vary if gauge is different from the suggested gauge. I used a rattan hoop with an outside diameter of 90cm/35.4inches x 2cm/0.7inches thick.

Finished Measurements: Designed to fit a 90cm hoop. 81cm/31.8 inches across laid flat

This pattern has been tested by a large group with varying abilities in crochet. While this pattern has graphs, written instructions, including break-down of specials stitch and photographs. I do NOT offer video tutorials.
