Gauge is not important for this blanket. Gauge stated is approximate for my personal tension.
Hook size depends on yarn used.
Blanket is made using dk weight yarn. However, you are free to use any weight yarn you choose with the corresponding hook size. This of course will change the finished size of the blanket.
